Ron Feemster is a journalism professor at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. His byline has appeared in more than 30 publications in 30 years, from specialized education and housing quarterlies to the New York Times. He has covered topics ranging from public housing to country music, from the pharmaceutical industry to an Indian reservation.
