Much of education coverage focuses on the crowded coasts and biggest cities, but millions of Americans educate their children on the vast rolling plains or in among the towering mountain ranges of the West. These schools, replete with their own problems and full of their own unique solutions, deserve focused, thoughtful reporting as well.
